Data Privacy Notice
With the following data protection information, we, the Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden e. V. (Hohe Str. 6, 01069 Dresden, Germany), as the responsible party within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), explain which personal data we process when you visit our website as well as use our online services.
Registration and participation in the conference
The data gathered from the participants in the course of registration for the conference by email, mail, or possibly during the implementation of the conference, shall be stored on internal servers and processed by the IPF Dresden for the purpose of organizing the conference and rendering account. These data shall include, in particular, the participant's full name (including title), company affiliation, status and contact details.
The processing of the data shall take place exclusively for the implementation of the conference in accordance with Art. 6 (1 b) GDPR. Without the processing of these data, participation shall generally not be possible. Mandatory information is designated by means of "*". In order to protect our legitimate interests according to Art. 6 (1 f) GDPR, the conference program will be published with details of the speakers and the topics. Your data shall not be processed for other purposes, unless you have granted us separate consent for this. Your data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for your participation in the conference and we have informed you of this or if we are legally obliged to do so. In particular, your personal data (full name, status, country, student/reg. participant) may be passed on to the "Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG)" for accounting purposes. In addition, access by IT service providers may be possible, insofar as we have concluded an order processing contract with them in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The IPF Dresden does not transfer personal data to third countries. However, for the implementation of the conference, various services are used for which processing by companies in the USA takes place or cannot be ruled out. This applies in particular to the video conferencing service "ZOOM" as well as other platforms used by the speakers in individual cases, e.g. YouTube.
For the duration of the event, the data shall be retained, or stored, and processed. For a 10-year period, the data must, within the scope of the statutory retention duties, be retained or stored for records relevant to accounting. Your data with us shall then be destroyed or erased. When registering for the conference, you have, in accordance with Art. 6 (1 a) GDPR, the option of giving your consent i.a. to the inclusion of your data in a list of participants and to the storage and further use of your data for the sending of information concerning future scientific events of the IPF. The granting of consent is voluntary. Consent given may be revoked in writing at any time - in whole or in part - with effect for the future. For this purpose, please contact the organization team via email@example.com. Consent does not automatically end with the end of the conference. No disadvantages arise from refusal of consent or revocation.
